A little about Me:
My career started with the Temecula district before I was married in 1997. Once hired with Temecula, I was blessed with two amazing boys! I was lucky, because I was able to take a break from the classroom to raise both of them. When I returned to teaching, I became part of the CCE family. After about 10 years at CCE, I moved onto WES as the current Read 180/System 44 Teacher and Tech coordinator.
I rode horses my entire life starting as a little girl and even showed in competitions on the Quarter Horse Circuit all over the U.S. Thanks to both of my parents, I was able to succeed in such a wonderful skill during my youth. It taught me how to be a good winner and loser, how to care for others, work as a team, to be responsible, respectful, and so much more!
When I am not teaching, I am either at the beach, on the boat, exercising, visiting family, swimming, biking, taking a hike, or off to an adventure such as New York or Yosemite!
But I think that my boys and my husband would say that I am LEARNING!
My passion for education and learning extends past the school day. I use Twitter as my PLN. I can be found on Twitter @AllegraBenson I am a member of the edWeb.net community as well.
