Welcome to Mrs. Davies' 2nd Grade Classroom Eldio!
I'm very excited to start this new chapter in my life at Wildomar Elementary School. First, my name is Rochelle, but please call me Shellie or Mrs. Davies :) My family and I moved to Wildomar about 4 years ago. I'm married to a wonderful man, Erick, who is originally from Guatemala. He blessed me with an amazing son, Edgar, who is 15 (almost 16) years old. My family and I enjoy traveling, camping, family time, and our creatures (dog - Maya, cat - Meesh, and our newest addition cat - Minino).
A little about my educational journey: I am a 5th generation teacher and originally from WA state where I taught first and second grade loop for seven years. In WA, I received my undergrad degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Development from Central Washington University. I went on and received my masters in Curriculum and Instruction at Seattle Pacific University. From there I went on to finish my Professional Certification from SPU as well. Several years later, I moved from WA to CA and went back to school to obtain my CLAD (cross-cultural, language, and academic development) as well as Teaching technology to the 21st century certification at Brandman University. Once I finished my certification, I worked at a local charter school for a year teaching 4th grade.
This year will be my 9th year teaching and I'm very excited to be a part of the Wildomar Elementary School team!
