This video shows you an example of the email a parent would get if they "subscribed" to their student's class/teacher on the school's website, Edlio. It also shows the process of "how to subscribe." Subscribing to a teacher's webpage cuts out the leg work for a parent to constantly check in at the website. This way if they are "subscribed" they are sent an email when something new is posted.

hi guys I wanted to show you something really cool about our website so this is my Outlook on my mail and I'm using it online and this is an email I got today from edlio the website and it's my turn Spanish to teacher and the upcoming assignments so she must have posted this today and I received this message so this is really great as a parent because I can see what my son has coming up in his class especially if he's deciding to fall behind in grades or maybe not tell me the truth or whatever the reason could be so I wanted to show you what I did so I went to Lake Elsinore and I went and went to the high schools and went to Elsinore high and already have the tab open here and I went ahead and just looked across the top and I was looking basically for staff and I found it in about us I don't really see it here but I see classes and staff and so I knew his teacher's name because I threatened him and asked him what his name was what her name was and her name was mrs. boxes and I found out what . so I can see here that she has all these periods of classes and he is in Spanish too. For so you can see here she has made some postings she has upcoming assignments she has files over on the side here and you can see here that I have a check mark that says subscribed this means that this is how I got that email I subscribed to her this webpage so whenever she posted something I would be notified and so let me show you really quick on our site I have my class setup and so basically is wanted to find out notifications what's going on they would come here they would click subscribe they would go ahead and type in their email address and basically they would then hit I'm a parent and hit subscribe and it's a simple as that you look back at my mail the question is when can I unsubscribe what I don't want to see these right here really simple so I can ahead and click unsubscribe which I am not going to do because my son is in the little bit of trouble right now so I want to continue to see everything that she continues to post first banished to
